I am looking forward to a rich and rewarding year in first grade with your child. I will do all that I can to make this school year a happy and successful learning experience. I love what I do and will always have your child's best interest at heart.

To share a little about myself, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have received my Masters Degree from Nova University. I have been teaching since 1985, while taking a few years off to spend with my family. My husband is also a teacher for the Chandler  Unified School District. We have two children that attend Hamilton High School, and one child that is attending Chandler-Gilbert Community College. I enjoy spending time with my family, going out for a run or reading a good book when I am not teaching.

I appreciate parents taking an active role in their child's education. The extra time and effort we put forth now will set expectations and establish a routine, which will foster a positive and productive 1st grade experience.
