  • Title I Parent Meeting: 5:30 PM, Tues. 8/25

     

    Join us on Tuesday evening, August 25th, at 5:30 PM, in the Willis Media Center to hear about the Title I program and how it benefits our school and students. We will give a brief overview of the Title I Program, but will spend a majority of our team discussing specific programs and interventions at Willis. This includes our Academic Perseverance (AP) class, which begins this week. We hope you can join us!

  • Announcing the WJHS Academic Perseverance (AP) Period

     

    Perseverance

     

    We are excited to announce a new 40 minute Academic Perseverance (AP) period to the Willis Junior High schedule. Starting Monday, August 24th, Willis will begin running a six period day. During fourth period, all students will attend one of three AP classes: Reading Skills, Math Skills, or Study Skills (Executive Functions). Students received a new copy of their schedule today. More information is on the WJHS webpage, under Resources, and included in a letter home from Mr. Delp that was given to students during third period today. Hard Work + Perseverance = Success
