Teaching music is my passion, and I am so excited to be opening the music program at Carlson Elementary! This is my seventh year in the Chandler District. Prior to this year, I taught in CUSD at Erie Elementary, Basha Elementary, and Hancock Elementary, as well as having taught music at a valley charter school for two years and teaching private piano and guitar lessons.
 
On Stage
I grew up in the Midwest, in Indianapolis, Indiana and studied at Indiana University. I love to sing and have performed in choirs, musicals, and cover bands both in Indiana and here in Arizona. I feel privileged to be able to share my love of musical theatre with students at Carlson by helping to lead the Drama Club and direct the music for our musical theatre performances.
 
I live in Chandler with my husband and our two cats. In my spare time, I enjoy performing, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our extended family.
