STEAM 
Science - Each academic team begins each quarter with a science based interdisciplinary theme. All other subjects are integrated throughout the hands-on science theme. Each grade's Q2 topic is below

Technology - iPad apps are in use for reading practice, find places on a map, interaction with virtual math manipulatives, and exploration science concepts. Edmodo, Kidblog, and Evernote are keeping kids, parents and teachers connected. Everyday use of laptops, flip cameras, and iPads are keys to unlock a world beyond the walls of the classroom
 
Engineering - KGA classrooms have been learning the engineering basics through Design Squad Engineering projects. Engineering is Elementary provides an integrated approach to engineering across the curriculum. 
 
 
Arts - The arts are integrated throughout the school day. Art Masterpiece projects are on display in the front office. Check out what students are donig.  Music class is offering choral music, keyboarding, and violin. Glee Club is fine tuning their song and dance, and is excited to participate in the Chandler High School musical this Spring. Mark your calendars for the production of the Nutcracker coming soon!

Math - Math is everywhere at KGA! Students are using their mathematical reasoning and problem solving in a variety of ways. Math fluency in computation and communication is practiced, as well as complex application of mathematical thinking. Math discussion circles are coming soon!
