Mrs. Kaufman
 My name is Bernie Kaufman and I've been teaching at Weinberg for more than 15 years.  During my career as a teacher I have taught first, third, fourth, and fifth grades.  My education includes a Bachelor's and  a Master's Degree in Education. 
 
My favorite activities that occupy my time when I am not in the classroom include playing with my grandchildren, reading, gardening and  a variety of arts and crafts.
 
Welcome to our class where our goal is to become lifelong learners.  We believe that we learn through our mistakes.  We are always asking ourselves "Does this make sense?"
