Attending a packing event can earn you 2-2.5 hours of community service.  All events take place at the FMSC permanent site in Tempe.  The address is:

7965 S. Priest Drive, Suite 106
               Tempe, AZ 85284

 

The packing  event dates are as follows:

            Thursday, September 20, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

            Saturday, September 22, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

            Thursday, October 4, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

            Saturday, October 6, 11:30 - 1:30 p.m.

            Wednesday, November 7, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

            Saturday, November 10, 11:30 - 1:30 p.m.

            Wednesday, December 5, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

            Saturday, December 8, 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.

              Tuesday, January 15, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
           Tuesday, January 29, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. 

 

If you attend these events you are responsible for transportation to and from the site.

 

Fundraisers

We will have two fundraisers during the year to help pay for the shipping and cost of food we pack.

            Quarter Collection  (October date TBD)  Every $14 in quarters collected will earn 3 hours of community service.

            Candy Sale (January date TBD) Every bag of candy sold will earn 3 hours of community service.

 

Meeting dates

            We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month or 1 week after the general meeting. You will earn 0.5 hours of community service for each meeting you attend.
