Weekly Routine Story-Based Activities.

Monday –

• Vocabulary notes
• Predictions and preview box in the story log
• HW = Read the story

Tuesday –

• Story summary sheet or notes completed in class 
• HW = Finish story log

Wednesday –

• Activities in class that go with the story or the concept we are practicing that week
• HW = varies and will be announced

Thursday –

• Reading Response prewriting
• HW = Revise and polish Reading Response paragraph

Friday –

• Turn in vocab notes, story log, story summary or notes, and reading response
• Story test
• Skill test if the skill is being tested that week
