Dear CHS Parent:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself so that we may establish a communicative and trusting relationship. My name is Jen Crozier and I am happy to be your child’s Biology teacher for the 2013-2014 school year.
Your child’s personal and intellectual development are of utmost importance to me as his/her teacher. My goal is to help your child understand the significance and impact of scientific issues in their own lives and neighborhoods through lecture and discussion, individual and cooperative assignments, and hands-on experimentation and investigation.
With a background in both Exercise Science (B.S., ASU) and Secondary Education (Masters, ASU) and seven years teaching experience, six at Chandler High School and one as an adjunct faculty at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, I aim to apply my enthusiasm for and knowledge of the natural and biological sciences so that I may motivate your son/daughter to embrace life-long learning and a healthful, successful life ahead. Your son’s/daughter’s personal and intellectual development are of utmost importance to me as his/her teacher. Together, we will investigate various concepts within the scientific discipline of Biology, such as Genetics, Biochemistry, Evolution & Ecology.
I would like to personally invite you to Chandler High School’s Open House on ??? from 6:00-8:30 p.m. so that you may put faces and personalities to teacher’s names and get to know your child’s school environment a little better.
