I am a native New Englander who was born, raised and lived in Massachusetts all my life, except for a few years of college. I have attended several colleges and universities in pursuit of various degrees from Washington, D.C. to Lowell, MA. I was a classroom teacher for 26 years, and taught every grade from Preschool through Sixth. Each grade was just perfect at the time I did it, but second and sixth are my most favorite grades. After all those years, I became a principal. My school in Massachusetts was in a tiny little town with only 2,200 students from Preschool—12! This is very common in New England and very different from Arizona. I was principal in My husband and I live in I really love to read—spy thrillers, war stories, and science fiction are my favorites. My favorite authors are Vince Flynn, Brad Thor and James Patterson right now. I also read a healthy dose of Harry Potter, FableHaven, Eragon, Junie B. Jones, and Henry and Mudge, and Lisa McMann books too! I hope our entering 5th and 6th graders will urge me on to some new books and authors and get me hooked like they usually do! My hobby is photography and I enjoy traveling to take photos for my collection. I love to do landscapes and anything ocean related. I tend to frame everything, so my local Michael's just love to see me coming. I am working on my skills at golf as well, but no one in the LPGA has anything to worry about. I just got my best score ever--88--at Lone Tree. Best of all, I just LOVE being the HEAD GATOR at Goodman! To reach me, please call the Office at 812-6900. My e-mail is also always available and gets the quickest response sniff.maureen@cusd80.com
