Thank you for visiting our website. I am the proud principal of this incredible school!  I look forward to building lasting relationships with the students, staff and families during the 2013-2014 school year.

I believe in leading an environment where children will learn and grow academically, emotionally and socially.  I see my role as an advocate for students and staff to support the demanding challenges of providing a high quality educational experience. 

My love for children, teaching, and learning will continue as all of our students, teachers and families work toward common goals.  A strong background in curriculum and instruction enables me to provide leadership for our school and a focus on high expectations for student achievement.  My partnerships with Independence families will provide all students with the support to be successful and foster a collaborative experience for years to come!
