Circulation Policy 

 Each student may check out two items at a time.  This does not include literature studies and textbooks.

Library materials are checked out to parents and students for two weeks and may be renewed twice, if necessary.

Reference books and magazines may not be checked out and are for use in the media center only.

ACP-Oakland does not charge overdue fines.

All library materials must be returned to the media center at the end of every school year.

All materials checked out of the media center are the responsibility of the patron. A book is considered lost only if it is overdue for a minimum of two months. Refunds will be given only if a lost book is found and returned to the media center in good condition before a replacement is ordered.

Materials that are water damaged will either be charged the replacement cost, or, in the event the damage is minor, $5 damage fee.

 Gift/Donation Policy

Gifts and donations are always appreciated. All gifts will be evaluated by the media specialist and placed in the appropriate collection.   Donated books that are not age appropriate will either be donated to another Chandler school, or used in trade to acquire books.

Gifts may be added to the Media Center collection or given to teachers for classroom libraries.
