ParentConnection Portal 
Welcome to the Chandler Unified School District Parent Connection!
 
CUSD is providing an opportunity for parents of CUSD students to sign up for a new program, ParentConnection.  This program will allow you to monitor your child's assignments, grades and attendance.
 
The gradespeed Parent Connection Portal allows parents access to their child's grades and assignments via website access to a teachers gradebook.
 
What will a parent see on the Parent Connection?
The parent will see a list of the graded assignments, a subjects' grade list page, and student attendance.
 
How often will grades be updated into Gradespeed?
Teachers will be entering grades weekly in most content areas with the exception of Social Studies, Science and Writing.  Please keep in mind that projects and in depth assignments may take longer to be posted to allow for grading.
 
Should I contact my child's teacher if I have a question regarding a grade?
If you are concerned about a low grade in any content area, click on the specific content area and scroll down to see how many assignments make up the cumulative grade.  If only two assignment grades have been entered, that may account for the current low grade.  Remember, grades will be entered throughout the week. which will keep changing the overall grade.  However, if you have concerns over an assignment score or if your child is showing missing work, please discuss with your child and contact the teacher as needed.
 
Will the Gradespeed Parent Portal replace the progress reports that are sent home with my child?
Hard copies of progress reports will continue to be sent home with students for the remainder of this school year.
