Welcome to Physical Education at Hancock!

The new school year is upon us and I would like to welcome you and your child to P.E. at Hancock Elementary. As many of you know, a lot of changes have taken place for me this past year. I got married, so I am no longer Miss Litzinger, I am now Mrs. Gee (pronounced like the letter "G")! My husband and I are also expecting a little girl on October 23rd! We are very excited!

I am also excited to begin another school year! This is my fifth year teaching in Chandler and my third year here at Hancock. I am very excited to be part of the Hancock Heat community! I am originally from Southern California, where I spent the first half of my childhood. Then, my family moved to Wisconsin, where I spent the second half of my childhood and graduated from high school. I have lived in Arizona for 11 years now...Prescott for 3 and in the East Valley for 8 years. I am a proud alumnus of Arizona State University...GO DEVILS! I am an avid sports fan in general, however pro football is my favorite!

I believe that physical education is essential to a child's overall education. One of my goals as a P.E. teacher is to promote lifetime physical activity in my students by creating a positive classroom environment where students can feel successful and have fun. I enjoy an active lifestyle and hope to share that with my students!

There are a lot of exciting things that will be going on this school year! Some activities include:

*Running Club
