Willis Junior High School's Sigma Math Club was ranked  #1 in the nation for the 2011-2012 School Year.  This is the third consecutive year Sigma Math has been ranked number one and the fourth time in the last five years. Sigma Math Club has ranked in the top 10 schools in the nation for the past six years.
 Eight students received Gold Pins,  five earned Silver Pins and  three student earned a Bronze Pin for individual high scoring.  Giuse Nguyen and Jordan Bradbeer were over all high scorers for 7th and 8th grade respectively.
