The Seniors Saying Thank You program was started in the 2002/2003 school year by a 2003 Hamilton High School graduate. The program was designed to give CUSD seniors the opportunity to recognize and thank the teacher who had the greatest influence on them during their time at school. Forms are passed out to all seniors who then write a personal thank you note to their favorite teacher. Completed forms are screened and then delivered to the respective teacher through CUSD mail during Teacher Appreciation Week.
For the past four years, this program has been managed by Hamilton High seniors Lauren Schenk and Maddi Lynch. Our 2012/2013 “Seniors Saying Thank You” program distributed over 2,700 letters to CUSD high school teachers at Basha, Chandler, Hamilton and Perry High Schools recognizing them for the tremendous influence and impact they had on their students. Many thanks to Lauren and Maddi for volunteering their time to run this program each year!
