Welcome

We are so proud of all of our seniors who received a scholarship on Tuesday, May 21- thanks for attending!

Graduation is next Wednesday!!!!!  Finish strong!

Seniors... you are always welcome back to visit... just because you move on doesn't mean the Basha Staff ever forgets you:)

Dear Summer School Parents,

As you are aware due to construction at Basha, summer school was changed to Hamilton High School.  We knew this may cause students to cancel classes because of transportation issues.  The district is now providing busses to and from Basha and Hamilton.  Please visit www.cusdcommunity.com where you registered for classes and search for Summer Academy - High School Transportation .  The approval code is Transport13.

Good luck in classes and have a wonderful summer,

Basha High Counseling Staff

New Valedictorian/Salutatorian Selection for the class of 2015 and beyond. (Freshmen and Sophomores only)

2013 and beyond graduation requirement of ECAP.  By 2013, all graduating seniors must have the ECAP 4 year plan in their cumulative file to meet state requirements.  At this time, all of the seniors have filled out a 4 year plan... this plan has been passed back to your senior in their English course for your signature along with two questions that require their response.  (Seniors not having an English course have already been given this form and should return their completed form to Ms. Thompson in Guidance.)  This must be returned ASAP so we may file it in their cumulative folder to be prepared for any state audit on our seniors.

Parents- did you know that Guidance meets with your students yearly to go over high school requirements, career planning, college admissions and ECAP requirements?  We give a classroom lecture with power point and walk them through ECAP requirements yearly.

Please click on the links to the left
hand side for information pertaining
to your student.

We are available from 7 A.M. to 3 P.M. daily.
We are located on the left hand side, south
side, as you enter the Administration building.

For emergencies there is a Response Counselor available in the event your alpha counselor is booked. We highly recommend meeting with your alpha counselor if at all possible so the counselor that will follow your student throughout high school is informed as to your family's needs.

For an appointment please call our
Guidance Assistant at 480-224-2127.
Generally you and your student will
be booked for a 30-minute appointment,
but if you feel you need more time
simply request it when scheduling the
appointment. You may email at anytime
and generally receive feedback within
2 workdays.

Students may drop in before school,
during their lunch or after school without
an appointment any day. The only
important item to remember is that
the student must allot for enough time
to accomplish their task as to not be
tardy for class.
