The junior high school course selection process is already under way. Willis representatives have started visiting all of our feeder elementary schools to distribute course catalogs and course selection information. Course selection for current 7th grade students will take place the first two weeks of February.
If your student is a sixth grader, attends one of our feeder elementary schools, and lives within the Willis boundary, there is no registration required -- relevant records and information will roll over to Willis. Please check with your student to be sure that they have filled out a Course Selection form for the 2015-16 school year.
If you live outside of the Willis, or Chandler Unified boundaries, you will need to complete an OPEN ENROLLMENT FORM to attend Willis. Open enrollment requests may be submitted beginning January 13, 2015. For more information related to the open enrollment, please visit the CUSD Open Enrollment website.
New to Chandler Schools?
If your student is new to Chandler Unified School District, you will need to complete a new registration packet. When you register, you must bring all of the following:
> State-certified birth certificate
> Immunization record (if you are coming from another state you will want to check that your student has received a T-Dap and Meningococcal (Meningitis) vaccine, these are required by Arizona State Law to enroll in public school.
> Most recent report card from previous school (if enrolling your student during the school year we will need a withdrawal paper from previous school).
> Proof of address (only utility bills or purchase/lease contracts showing physical address of the home in the name of the parent).
