Hello, my name is Brandi Lander and I am very excited to be working with your child at Riggs Elementary Community Preschool.  I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education.  I plan on continuing my education in Early Childhood Development and Special Education. 

I was born in Southern California.  I lived there for 23 years until my husband was transferred to Arizona.  We have lived in Arizona since 1996.  We moved to Chandler 3 years ago from Tucson.  In Tucson, I taught preschool ages 3-4 for three years.   I have been married for 21 wonderful years.  I have 2 children, Daniel 15 and Haylie 10 and a 2 year old chocolate lab named Duke.   In my free time, I like to travel with my family and I love reading. 

This year, my goal is for us to work as a community to achieve the success of each child’s learning and prepare them for their continued education.  The children’s success and enthusiasm for learning is what I enjoy the most about teaching.  It is such a joy for me as a teacher, to watch the children enjoying their experience in preschool.
